Baby Bundles for Boys!

I recently added 4 new additons to the Baby Bundle collection and added the pics below....

The 2 lion baby bundles consist of a hooded towel, Pampers size 3 nappies, onesie vest, sumptuously soft cuddly lion (suitable from birth) and a Body Shop goodie for mum.  The giraffe baby bundles consist of a fleece blanket, Pampers size 3 nappies, outfit/sleepsuit size 3-6 months, 1 pair of socks, a brush & comb set and a super snuggly giraffe (suitable from birth).

I love making these for family and friends -  the high quality 'ingredients' of each baby bundle make an impressive yet practical gift for mother and baby.

  

     

New Additions

Today I spent my morning making 6 baby bundles to sell on ebay, and here they are!

Each is made up of a plush cotton velour hooded towel, approx 15 Pampers Baby Dry nappies, super-soft cuddly toy suitable from birth, either 2 pairs of socks or a onesie vest in co-ordinating colours, and a Body Shop gift just for mum. 3 Tier Baby Bundle

I recently made this lovely 3 tier pink themed nappy cake at the request of a friend.

The base was made from a pink hooded towel with bunny motiff, stuffed full of disposable nappies. The middle layer consisted of a high quality soft reversible cotton blanket (the kind places like Baby GAP sell for £15 a piece). The top layer is a muslin burp cloth with pretty pink heart design.

Within the layers the usual goodies were carefully tucked in:
Comb & brush, weening spoons, socks, baby bottle, onesie vests, cuddly toy (suitable from birth), sleepsuit, and a little bottle of bubbly for mum (The Body Shop kind of course!).

I received extremely positive feedback - the mother loved it and was impressed by it's uniqueness and also it's obvious practicality! All the goodies used to construct a nappy cake are of the highest quality and I take great pride in my creations.

Nappy Cakes!

My name is Rebecca Jatta and one of my hobbies is making gorgeous gifts to celebrate the arrival of newborn babies.

I stumbled across the idea of nappy cakes on the internet about 4 years ago. Nappy cakes (or diaper cakes) are a very American idea which has boomed over here in the UK over the last few years. Originally I made a few nappy cakes for friends and work colleagues as gifts. Word spread about my nappy cake making hobby and more people requested my 'cake making' expertise.

I spend many hours sourcing quality supplies to create some wonderful centre pieces fitting the arrival of such special little souls! I am contemplating the design of a dedicated website and as soon as the idea is clear in my mind, will get to work! I'll keep you posted regarding my progress....

Boys 3 Tier Nappy Cake

This 3 tier nappy cake contained some truly gorgeous goodies! The bottom layer consisted of a reversible blanket - blue fleece on one side and cotton safari animals print on the reverse. Gift wrapped in blue net and finished off with blue ribbons, this made a stunning gift!

I made this 2 tier baby bundle for a work colleague who was expecting twins.

I made this baby bundle for a work colleague who was organising a bayshower for a friend.
